This is offered regularly by TreeConsult and is usually carried out in small groups or for individuals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-644368b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"644368b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Basic seminar\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a0d276e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a0d276e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The training consists of four units, which are usually held on four consecutive days. Participants must attend the course on all four days in order to acquire the licence to use the Arbostat software.<\/p><p>Day 1: Introduction - biomechanics of trees and basics of the tensile test method<\/p><ul><li>engineering concepts and safety<\/li><li>fracture, Hook's Law, elastic limit<\/li><li>Inclination curve for tree tilt failure<\/li><li>Ground-level wind effects in the urban environment<\/li><li>Flow effects around trees and in crowns<\/li><li>pulling test demonstration<\/li><\/ul><p>Day 2: Hands-on Training in Pulling Tests (TreeQinetic System)<\/p><ul><li>Measurement technology, devices and sensors<\/li><li>pulling test design and sensor set-up<\/li><li>Data acquisition and data verification<\/li><li>limits in the pulling test, risks<\/li><\/ul><p>Day 3: Evaluation with Arbostat Software<\/p><ul><li>different wind effects and behavior of the trees,<\/li><li>the correct choice of input parameters for the wind load estimation,<\/li><li>beam theory, material properties of green wood<\/li><li>Tipping failure of trees, the interaction of roots and soil<\/li><li>practical application in Arbostat<\/li><\/ul><p>Day 4: Practical exercises<\/p><p>On this day, the acquired knowledge will be applied and deepened through a practical tensile test and the evaluation using Arbostat.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-24b4d7a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"24b4d7a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">User meeting<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6c7a0c6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6c7a0c6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>User meetings are also held.
